Why is the rate for handygal hour 1 more than the rate for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th... handygal hours?

Well, there is a method to our madness. The answer to that inquiry is two fold:

1) We encourage our clients to be as prepared as they can be for our arrival (remember, “It’s as easy as 1,2,3!!! , just go thru the steps. WE like to come to your work site ready to get down to business. We will first do a quick walk through to review your requested needs. Then we want to get right to it. The thing is that we can only prepare based on what you ask us to do. We take the information from our initial appointment scheduling and convert that into our plan of action and the materials and parts we think we might need. Yes, we will do any jobs that you might add on on the spot, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the supplies needed. An unscheduled hardware store run bump your end invoice total up by a few bucks.

When you, the client, is as organized as you can be, you would be surprised how much work the Fixin’ Vixens can get done in a single hour. For example we can install a new light fixture, put in that new kitchen tap set, fix that closet door that has come off the tracks and glue down that cove base in the bathroom that keeps popping up. All of this in one hour. Providing , of course, there are no unforeseen complicating factors.... yes.

2) We will definitely NOT rush to complete your job. But in theory it only makes sense that if we can do a whole bunch of 1 hour jobs each day our profits will go through the roof. Fortunately that is not a philosophy we espouse. We, as a company base our success not on the quantity of jobs we can get done but we also pride ourselves on the high standard of quality of the work we perform in an efficient manner.

• Do i need to buy my own parts and materials? We encourage clients to head out and pick up their own supplies. Fixin’ Vixens would be happy to get what you need if you don’t have the time, the knowledge or the desire to shop. Please note that on top of the hourly rate for each job, all parts and materials, provided by “Fixin’ Vixens”, for work performed for our clients will be invoiced (plus applicable taxes and a small administration fee) to the the client.

The Fine Print for Promotion WA 137 aka “Some Conditions Apply”: This hourly rate is for Handygal Labour only. GST will be added to handygal labour hourly rate. Materials and parts extra. Applicable taxes will be added to materials and parts supplied by Fixin’ Vixens. Work ordered from January 1 – March 31, 2007 valid for this rate. Work must be scheduled and performed by April 30,, 2007. Regular rate per job: $75.00 (first hr) and $64.00 (each hour thereafter). Please mention WA137 when placing order. We reserve the right to limit the number of hour per request. We reserve the right to refuse to do particular jobs for this promotion. Cannot be combine with any other promotion. Lower Mainland only. There are limited time slots available for this promotion. Once promotional booking slots are full there will be no extension this promotion.
